In addition to being a founding principal of WallerSutton 2000, Bill was a co-founder of the 1997 Fund. Prior to the 1997 Fund, Bill co-founded Sutton Capital Associates, Inc., an investment firm principally engaged in the acquisition and ownership of cable television and cellular telephone systems and related investments, with Cathy Brienza in 1973. As President and Chief Executive Officer of Sutton Capital, Bill had responsibility for all of the company's activities including identifying investments and determining and securing the financing needs for its investments.

Before co-founding Sutton, Bill was head of the Corporate Finance Department for a Wall Street investment bank and a CPA with Touche Ross & Co. He has a Master of Business Administration degree in Marketing from the Wharton Business School of the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Ohio State University. Bill currently serves as a Director of Regent Communications, Inc. (NASDAQ: RGCI), and Access Television Network, Inc.
